First Cycle Proposal Deadline is May 23, 2008

Generally, first cycle invitations are for proposals to support ongoing projects, and new projects or organizations for which the timing of the request is critical.  The first cycle is limited to about 1/3 of our grantmaking budget.  Grant awards for first cycle grants are made by July 1. 

Second Cycle Proposal Deadline is September 19, 2008

In the second cycle, we invite proposals for new as well as ongoing projects.  Grant awards for second cycle grants are made in late November.

Emergency/ Opportunity grants

Proposals for E/O grants are accepted at any time between March 15 and December 31. Please contact The Harder Foundation staff to determine whether you are eligible for an E/O grant.
